A wave of new driving rules are set to come into force this summer which all drivers should familiarise themselves with. Some of the changes include additional costs for heavy goods, special parking bans, and brand new low-emission zones which could land motorists with a hefty fine if they're not careful, Yorkshire Live reports.

These payments, however, were suspended during the pandemic in order to help haulage companies reduce cost issues and driver shortages.
The suspension will come to an end from August which means companies will have to begin paying levy costs again. It is understood that a new pavement parking ban will be introduced this summer.
