Official nominations for the for the Annual British Restaurant Awards have been announced with a number of Manchester eateries in the running to be named some of the best in the country.
As well as awards for best new restaurant, top chef and hospitality team, organisers have also revealed the spots nominated in the Best Manchester Restaurant category too.
Those featured include the Michelin-starred Mana in Ancoats, First's Street's WOOD by MasterChef champion Simon Wood and Kitten, the striking Japanese restaurant and cocktail bar that opened on Deansgate Square last year.
The awards, which seek to recognise and celebrate the exceptional talent, innovation, and artistry that defines the UK's restaurant, will be announced at a glittering ceremony in London on September 5.
