All of Those Warner Bros. Movies Won't Be on HBO Max Forever - Here's the Fine Print!

If you plan on watching Wonder Woman 1984 on HBO Max, or any other Warner Bros. movie coming out in 2021, make sure to do it right away!

When Warner Bros. announced earlier this month that the studio’s entire 2021 film slate would be released on HBO Max the same day as the theatrical release, one detail didn’t get that much attention.

All of the movies, including Wonder Woman 1984, will only be available on HBO Max for 31 days. After that one-month period, the films will continue to play exclusively in theaters until they reach the traditional home entertainment period.

At that point, the movies will be available to rent on iTunes, Amazon, and other digital retailers. It’s not known if the movies will return to HBO Max at any point.
