Amazon has reduced the cost of its latest Echo speaker ahead of its annual Prime Day sale.From July 16-17, the tech retailer will offer major reductions to Prime customers across thousands of products.

Shoppers who can't wait until tomorrow though can get shopping now for deals on a selection of Amazon home devices and this includes its "all new" Echo speaker.Available on Amazon now, the Echo Spot, which was just released in 2024, is exclusively available to new Prime subscribers now for £49.99, making for a tidy £30 savings from its original £79.99 price tag.

The deal is available until July 17 for those who sign up for Amazon Prime, so shoppers will have to act fast. Available in three colours - black, glacier white or ocean blue - the latest iteration of the popular Echo speaker features Alexa controls, meaning users can play music, podcasts, or audiobooks with simple voice commands.

It is also compatible with other Alexa powered products. for hybrid use.Unlike previous Echo models, the Spot claims to be "so much more", including a customisable smart clock that displays the time, weather, music and other smart home devices.
