One week after the death of band member Liam Payne, all five of One Direction’s albums have returned to high positions in the UK music chart, along with the singer’s solo album.
The BBC reports that Midnight Memories, the band’s third album, holds the highest position at number 13, with a reported sales increase of 517% week-on-week, according to the Official Charts Company.
Three of the band’s singles have also re-entered the chart. Payne died on October 16 following a fall from the balcony of his third-floor hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Fans have continued to gather around the hotel, mourning their pop idol with candles, poems and flowers. A vigil was held there last weekend.
