All-day music event gives back to Ayrshire artists and aims to put region on map

Ayr on the Scottish music scene map – joining the likes of the country’s big cities.Gavin McMulkin is hosting the all-dayer at Venue38, in the town’s Carrick Street, this Saturday to give back to musicians and artists who have lost out during the Covid-19 pandemic.The event will showcase a diverse range of top talent from across the region from 2pm right through until closing time at 2.30am.On the bill are acoustic performances from Toastie, Adam Scott, Queen of Spades, Kevin McGinn and many more, as well as bands including The Peas, Lost Dogs and Royal Bloom.The Ayrshire Live app is available to download now.Get all the local news in your area – plus features, football news and the latest on the coronavirus crisis – at your fingertips.
