Alison Hammond has been handed a prestigious TV Award as she prepares to take over from This Morning’s Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes.
The 45-year-old star has been named the TV and Radio presenter of the year in Heat Magazine's Unmissable Awards. The bubbly television personality, who is known for her infectious personality and cheerful presenting skills, is over the moon with the title.
Alison, who beat her This Morning co-host Dermot O'Leary and Ant and Dec to the top spot, told the publication that the award "means a lot" to her.
