This Morning presenter Alison Hammond left viewers confused on Friday's instalment of This Morning (October 7) as she admitted she had recently been overcharged £10,000 for a car service - and failed to spot it.

Hosting the show alongside Dermot O'Leary, the presenter revealed she was charged the eye watering amount as the pair discussed a man being charged £35,000 for a four mile Uber trip.

She told Dermot: "I can't say for certain who it was, but my son's working there now, and I had paid for the service, but I didn't notice they had charged me £10,000 for the service.

I had not checked my bank account.They noticed a week later and they rang me up and they said 'look, we have charged you £10,000.' "It was meant to be £1k but they charged me ten thousand.They explained they had overcharged me but I hadn't even noticed.
