The cute couple walked the red carpet together at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival on Sunday night (May 21) with her co-stars, including Sam Riley, and director Karim Aïnouz.
Chatting with THR, Alicia revealed that she did her research into playing Catherine Parr, the last wife of Henry VIII, played by Jude. “No one really cared that she was the first woman in British history that published books under her own name,” she shared, before adding that Parr was “managing this danger and person next to [her] all the time.
To survive that, you have to be very delicate and clever.” If you missed it, Alicia and Michael will be starring in their second project together soon.
