It's not the typical season to expect a pantomime, but Alice in Wonderland is coming to Greater Manchester this summer. With the aim of offering 'affordable family theatrical shows' to all, tickets for the production, which is running at Bolton's Victoria Hall, cost just £5 per person.
The Bolton Panto will feature 26 performances running over 11 dates, from July 29 to August 9, and tickets are already being snapped up. Alice in Wonderland will be a magical escape for all the family, and we can’t wait to see our audiences enjoy the show over the summer school holidays." The production - from the company who brought us Sleeping Beauty at the venue last Christmas - promises 'side splitting comedy, spectacular scenery, dazzling dance routines, sensational costumes and much much more'.
It features Hannah Dale as Alice, who, after falling down the Rabbit Hole, finds herself in the bonkers yet magical world of Wonderland.
