Aberdeen have agreed a £650,000 deal to sign Alexander Jensen from Brommapojkarna. Record Sport revealed earlier this week that Aberdeen had made a move for the Danish defender.

The Swedish side had been reluctant to sell their versatile 23-year-old but now have reluctantly agreed a fee. It also includes a number of add-ons that could take it over £800,000 Jensen can play either full-back position or in midfield and has been one of Jimmy Thelin’s top targets.

The move is now subject to Aberdeen agreeing terms and the player passing a medical and getting a work permit. Jensen, who has also played for Velje and Fredericia ,is set to become Thelin’s third signing of the January window.

He has already signed Jeppe Okkels on loan with an option to buy from Preston in the summer. The Dons have also agreed to pay a £700,000 fee to sign Latvian captain Kristers Tobers.
