Dancing on Ice bosses are said to be “keen” to keep the show’s reputation as a family show, and have reportedly decided Alex will not be part of the new series after rumours of a romance between him and Maura, 29.
A source said: “Producers have embarked on a cull and are desperate not to gain a reputation for a show curse like BBC rival Strictly Come Dancing.
