Alex Jones says her life is going through 'challenging and tricky' patch as she shares post

Alex Jones has told her fans that life has "been a bit challenging" in a candid update. The One Show host said "things have been a bit tricky" as she checked in with her followers after being notably absent on social media.

The-45-year-old, who hails from Ammanford, said she had received "lovely messages" from people and was "touched" by everyone's kindness.

Alex, who shares three children with husband Charlie Thomson, accompanied the post with a picture of a lemon and the hashtag #whenlifegivesyoulemonsIn the message, the Welsh presenter told her 337k followers: "Things have been a bit tricky for us recently and in all honesty, I haven’t had time to be on here between working and the children but I randomly logged on and saw all your lovely messages gently asking if we were all ok.
