With holidays opening back up, and people jetting off to Portugal it's not a surprise that it's got people talking. But ITV weatherman Alex Beresford has made a point of one thing that might stop holiday goers jetting off just yet.

Realising that Portugal requires face masks in public places, including beaches, the 40-year-old joked that it wasn't the risk of falling ill that would put people off travelling.

Taking to Twitter, Alex shared his thoughts with his 253.4K followers. He wrote: "So Portugal has said you have to wear a face mask on the beach.
