Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Good Morning Britain's weather presenter, Alex Beresford, was moved to tears as he reflected on his heated argument with former co-host Piers Morgan.This emotional moment came after Alex and his dad Noel were declared winners of Celebrity Race Across The World.

In April 2021, Piers accused Alex of a "premeditated attack" during a discussion about Meghan Markle on GMB, which led to Piers leaving the ITV morning show when he refused to apologise for his comments.

Piers had been heavily criticising Prince Harry and Meghan following their interview with Oprah, leading to a confrontation where Alex said: "I understand that you don't like Meghan Markle. "You've made it so clear a number of times on this programme.

I understand you've got a personal relationship with Meghan Markle or had one and she cut you off... she's entitled to cut you off if she wants to.
