Aldi slashing cost of nearly 40 popular items ahead of Christmas - full list of price cuts

Aldi is slashing the price of dozens more of its popular products. The budget supermarket has announced that it's lowered the price of almost 40 items by an average of 10 per cent.

Products that have been slashed in price include chicken goujons, beef mince, sausages and salmon fillets, alongside other produce.

It comes after customers have already seen price drops of more than 300 products over the past few months, Aldi said. The supermarket, the UK's fourth largest, recently announced an investment of around £12 million in cutting prices of seasonal staples. Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi UK, said: “We know that this time of year can be an expensive time for everyone, which is why we are cutting more prices than ever before in December.
