Aldi has issued a warning to its customers about a scam being circulated across social media sites. In a Facebook post, the budget-friendly supermarket giant said it's aware of customers being told that the company is giving away a £200 gift card.
In an attempt to debunk the post, it said that such posts are "not legitimate and are not affiliated with Aldi". Customers have reported spotting users and groups on social falsely identifying themselves as Aldi in order to promote the fraudulent £200 gift card to unwitting customers.
