Aldi is selling a BBQ that becomes a campfire at night and kids love it

When it comes to summertime there are two things that are always popular in our gardens - barbecues and fire pits. Us Brits love nothing more than meeting up for a burger or two, especially after the last few years when gatherings were so tightly restricted.

But of course with our typical Manchester weather, things can quickly go a bit chilly, forcing everyone indoors. Well that doesn't have to be the case thanks to Aldi's Gardenline Geometric Fire Pit, which is basically a campfire and barbecue in one.

It's deceptively spacious too. We had eight sausages and a pack of four burgers on it for our first attempt and there was still room for plenty more.

Having previously used a gas barbie, it made us realise that we've been missing some of the flavour and juicy texture you get from cooking with charcoal.
