Aldi customers say 'they nearly fell over' and 'nearly had a fit' after spotting how much fresh chicken was scanning for at the checkout.
The scanning error has seen some customers urging others to check the price is correct before paying for their items. In recent months, the cost of living crisis has seen prices surge in all supermarket chains.
However several Aldi customers were left lost for words when they took their packets of fresh chicken to the till. Some people reported Aldi's fresh chicken scanning at prices from £65 all the way up to an eye-watering price £650.
The issue was originally highlighted by one bargain hunter on the Aldi Shoppers UK Facebook page this week, who bought a pack of four chicken breasts which should have been priced at £5.70 - but scanned at a far more pricely sum of £65.60.
