Alastair Johnston admits he’s never experienced such a chasing as he suffered in Spain. But the Celtic full-back is convinced that being given the run around by Atletico Madrid would be even worse if the Hoops don’t learn a single lesson from it.

Johnston admitted Atletico were toying with them at times – and he refused to make excuses as Celts went to pieces. It was about as sore as it has ever been in Canadian’s career but he admitted Celtic need to take their dumps and make sure it doesn’t happen again.
