EXCLUSIVE: Wrigley Media Group, which is looking to bolster production opportunities in Kentucky, has named Joe Livecchi as CEO.

Livecchi previously founded production company Noble Savages, which was behind A&E’s Alaska PD, History’s Save It Or Sell It and FYI’s Question of Love, and before that he was SVP, Development at Viacom-owned CMT, where he was behind Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Ranch, American Speed: The True Story of Nascar, and the scripted series Sun Records.

It comes after a new version of Kentucky’s film and TV tax incentive went into effect last year, meaning that it now offers producers a 30-40% refund on projects filmed in the state.

Wrigley Media Group, which is owned by Misdee Wrigley Miller, has worked on series such as CBS’ Secret Celebrity Renovation and Joe Exotic: Before He Was King.
