AJ Pritchard, 25, has admitted that Strictly Come Dancing producers were “a bit shocked” when he told them he was quitting the BBC show.The professional dancer announced his decision to leave the series in a social media statement last month.In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk alongside his younger brother Curtis Pritchard, 24, AJ revealed BBC bosses didn’t expect him to leave “due to him loving the job”.He divulged: “I spoke to the BBC to allow them to know what was going to happen.“I think everyone was a little bit shocked due to me obviously loving the job, but I’d prefer to end on a high and that’s the way I wanted to do it. “You don’t want to a show and end it on a negative, it’s a positive show and I was always going to end.
