AJ Odudu gutted to miss 'last dance with Kai' as she's forced to pull out of Strictly Tour

Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour.The star shared a statement on Instagram earlier today as she shared how she was still struggling with her injury.AJ shared the update to her 224,000 followers as she admitted she needs to "walk first".The star was due to appear in the live version of the show when it goes on tour later this month.However, she will not be back performing with Kai Widdrington as she's still suffering from injury.The contestant had to pull out of the show's final back in December after she tore her spring ligament.She wrote: "Following medical advice, sadly I've had to withdraw from the @strictlycomedancinglive due to injury."I had hoped for one last dance with @kaiwidd & we were both so looking forward to finally showing you our (unseen) show dance."But it turns out I can't go straight from wearing a medical moonboot to performing in 37 shows in 3 inch heels.

Who knew?!"The good news is, Kai and the rest of my Strictly fam will be setting the stage on fire and and I can't wait to go cheer them all on."Appearing in a video alongside her post, AJ said: "I've got to go from this moon boot into an ankle brace, into an orthopedic and essentially I have to walk again before I can dance again."That's going to be the next phase of this rehabilitation course in order for my ankle to continue to do well."She added: "Any dancing is just going to do it more harm than good."I'm sorry I can't be on tour, I'm gutted I'm not dancing with Kai again."I'm sad that I'm not going to be reunited with all my Strictly pals but go and enjoy the show."She also shared her plans to go and see the show in February to support her friends.AJ will be replaced by Maisie Smith in the live tour, after she made the final last year.She will be.
