A 2-1 win over Alloa on Tuesday night gave Airdrie their first home league win this season, and Watson, who set up Callum Gallagher's opener, hopes they can build on that this afternoon against his old side.

Watson, who has been playing in a new role as an attacking right-back in the win over Alloa and 0-0 draw at Queen's Park last weekend, told Airdrie's website: "It was good, we’re just happy to get over the line."We were delighted with the clean sheet at the weekend though obviously it was a draw.“Again we were solid defensively, so it was disappointing to concede [against Alloa], but it was good that we didn’t crumble."Everyone came together and the fans got behind us towards the end of the game, so it was good.”With Sam Wardrop's.
