Airdrie MSP delighted at submitted planning application for new Monklands Hospital

Airdrie MSP Neil Gray has expressed his delight at the fact that NHS Lanarkshire has submitted its planning application for the replacement Monklands Hospital site at Wester Moffat.

The planning application submission follows on quickly from the Scottish Government’s approval of the outline business case for the new hospital in Airdrie last month.

Mr Gray said: “I am delighted to see this planning application being submitted. The people of Lanarkshire deserve a facility that offers the best medical treatment available and in the most convenient location.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
