Airdrie and Shotts MSP Neil Gray has welcomed the news that 6,410 properties in North Lanarkshire received £26.7 million worth of non-domestic rates relief in 2024.Scottish Government schemes, like the Small Business Bonus Scheme, can offer eligible organisations up to 100 per cent rates relief – with 5,270 in North Lanarkshire being lifted out of paying non-domestic rates all together.Mr Gray has welcomed these figures, which show the value that the SNP Scottish Government places on supporting small business and organisations in the area.He said: “It is welcome news that 6,410 organisations in North Lanarkshire have received £26.7 million worth of rates relief in 2024, thanks to SNP policies.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
