Kind-hearted customers at Tesco's Airdrie and Coatbridge stores have donated more than 8000 meals to make a difference in their local communities.The supermarket chain's stores across the country have been "overwhelmed by the generosity of customers" who contributed to the Tesco Winter Food Collection.An incredible 1.9 million meals’ worth of long-life food items were donated between November 15 and 30 in all of the retailer’s large and Express stores.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
