Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.

An air ambulance was scrambled to Rochdale on Monday afternoon (August 12) after a pedestrian was struck by a car. Ings Avenue was cordoned off with multiple officers and paramedics at the scene of the collision.
The crash occurred at around 4.10pm, with emergency services rushing to the scene. Pictures from the incident showed a number of police cars and ambulances in attendance as the area was taped off for investigation work to take place. A white van and black car were also pictured at the scene. The severity of the injuries are understood to not be life threatening or life-changing according to police.
Emergency services were later stood down at around 5.30pm. A police spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of an road traffic collision between a car and pedestrian at around 4.10pm on August 12." No arrests were made in connection with the incident.
