Aiden McGeady says a panel in the VAR control room could be one way to fix the controversial tech's role in Scottish football. The winger was left perplexed by the system as Alfredo Morelos had a goal chopped off for a foul on Alistair Johnston as his Rangers side lost 3-2 to Celtic on Saturday.
Kevin Clancy deemed it a foul at the time and VAR official Nick Walsh backed him up, with debate raging in the almost 24 hours since over whether it should or shouldn't have stood. For the Hibs attacker, he believes that it always boils down to the man in the middle to be the front man for decisions.
And he tells Sky Sports that a panel of referees should be on hand at Clydesdale House to make a democratic choice on whether or not a decision should be given.
The experienced winger said: "It is subjective and this is thing that really annoys me about VAR and the way I think it is not done properly in this country."If one person thinks it is a mistake, why can't you have a panel in the VAR studio and take a vote.
