Former Rangers boss Alex McLeish has told Alfredo Morelos to "go out with a bang" against Celtic after the striker hinted at an Ibrox exit on social media.

The Colombian is rapidly approaching the end of his Ibrox contract and could leave for nothing in the summer, and dropped a hint that he is set to leave the Light Blues' this summer in a cryptic social media post earlier this week.

Amid heavy criticism of his performance in the 2-0 defeat to Aberdeen - with former Rangers star Neil McCann branding him "lazy" - Morelos posted a picture of himself to his Instagram story, he wrote: "Es Mejor ni hablar" which translates to "it's better not to talk."Many Rangers fans and pundits have taken the message to be a coded hint about leaving the Scottish Premiership behind, but McLeish has demanded one final top showing from the 26-year-old before he bows out.

When asked about the Instagram message, McLeish told Viaplay: "I would never like to see players leaving the club for nothing. "I know we are in the Bosman era and we have been for a long, long time.
