The Baity Palestinian eatery in Didsbury is donating hot meals to Afghan refugees, with the help of the Islamic Relief charity.
Ali Yousef, 31, co-owner of Baity has been working hard to feed people. READ MORE: He said he received a call to help provide 300 meals on Wednesday night.
Double that number was needed 24 hours later as demand rose. The restaurateur, who runs Baity with his wife Aisha, also 31, said he felt compelled to help, his own family having fled conflict in the past.
