Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) gives Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) and Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) their marching orders to attend, but Phil isn’t convinced by Sam’s sudden interest in family.
Harold moves the congregation, including Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden), to tears with his eulogy for Aunt Sal. At the wake, Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) is taken aback when Harold reveals that Aunt Sal left her, Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp) and Phil £100,000.
Sam demands the money from Phil but he refuses. Later, Sam is shocked when a jealous Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) reveals that Phil slept with Emma Harding (Patsy Kensit), and later heads back to Peggy’s to blackmail Phil for the inheritance money.
