Adrian Lam was proud of his Wigan Warriors side’s ‘gutsy’ performance on what was his last game in charge of the club. The Cherry and Whites’ season came to end at the DW Stadium as they were beaten 8-0 by Leeds Rhinos in the Super League play-off eliminators after failing to trouble their opponents’ try line throughout.
The head coach wasn’t the only one bidding farewell to the club, with the likes of Jackson Hastings and Oliver Gildart making their final appearances, too, but the result means Lam’s time at Wigan ends in disappointment.
