Addison Rae's Met Gala 2022 Outfit Took Over 350 Hours to Embroider!

The 21-year-old TikTok sensation and He’s All That star hit the red carpet at the 2022 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 2) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Addison wore a custom Michael Kors Collection black tulle halter gown with metallic mirror hand-embroidery.
According to Michael Kors, the gown took over 350 hours to hand-embroider, using approximately 11,000 mirrors of different shapes and sizes.
The mirrors are attached with individually embroidered microbeads in seven different shades to help create the ombré effect.
She carried a custom gunmetal python-embossed leather Gansevoort minaudière and wore black satin Huxley platform sandals from Michael Kors Collection as well. Addison is among one of the highest paid TikTok stars in the world.
