Adam Thomas 'suffering' as he admits to being 'in pain every day' in candid hospital update

Adam Thomas has told fans how he's 'in pain every day' as he gave a candid update from his latest trip to the hospital. The actor first opened up about his arthritis diagnosis last year.

He shared the personal news after it was revealed he'd be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing's 2023 series. He told at the time how he'd been told he had rheumatoid arthritis.

But Manchester-born Adam, 36, has since told how his initial diagnosis has been changed, saying in January on Loose Women that he's got Psoriatic arthritis. Alongside a picture of him undergoing fresh tests and assessments in hospital, Adam, who plays Donte Charles in the BBC One school drama, told his fans on Instagram: "My arthritis journey ….So for those of you that know,I’ve been on my methotrexate injections for quite some time and the side effects were just too much for me,I’ve had enough so I’ve decided to come off them. "I’ve been off them now for 5 weeks or so and not been on anything and the pain has definitely increased, finding it hard to walk again, especially in the morning and my wrists and fingers are just as bad if not worse!
