Adam Thomas is fresh into his Strictly Come Dancing journey but his busy schedule is already taking its toll. As well as signing up for the BBC One dance contest, the actor is also working on another series of Waterloo Road after the school-based drama reboot was commissioned for another two series.
Earlier this week, Adam, who is known for playing Donte Charles in the show, laughed in a video posted on social media as he admitted that around 18 months ago he 'didn't really have a job' but 'now has two'.
The 35-year-old has been thrust into Strictly rehearsals amid his filming schedule with the first Strictly live show expected on September 23.
It means this year's crop of celebrities have an extra week to get ballroom-ready as the pre-recorded launch show, in which fans can see which contestant has been paired with which professional dancer, airs this Saturday (September 16).
