David Leitch and Kelly McCormick’s production and action design company 87North has teamed with Universal Pictures Content Group to make a doc series about Hollywood stunt performers.
Action will follow 87North’s stunt teams at work and tell stories of the performers’ everyday lives and their loves of action sports, martial arts, motocross and other high-octane activities.
The six-part show will highlight the highs and lows of working in often-dangerous environments while balancing family life. it will also feature exclusive behind-the-scenes access to Hollywood movie sets including the upcoming Ryan Gosling starrer The Fall Guy, which Leitch is directing and McCormick producing.
Leitch and McCormick are known for features such as Bullet Train. The series is currently in post-production. Leitch and McCormick are executive producers, working with producers Josh Oreck (John Wick, Sherlock Homes) and Chelsea Allen (Prop Culture, Fam Jam) and director Bridger Nielson (All Things Must Pass, The Prodigy).
