EXCLUSIVE: In a competitive situation, ABC has landed for development Sisters-in-Law, a multi-camera comedy created by former The New Adventures Of Old Christine executive producers Sherry Bilsing Graham and Ellen Kreamer, with a significant penalty.
Sisters-in-Law hails from A+E Studios, marking a rare half-hour project — and first multi-cam sitcom — from the company behind such dramas as ABC’s Big Sky and Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer.
In the comedy, two sisters-in-law who are struggling to get along, finally bond together when they are faced with a common enemy: a new third sister-in-law.
Graham and Kreamer executive produce alongside A+E Studios’ Barry Jossen and Tana Nugent Jamieson. Sisters-in-Law stems from an exploratory meeting Nugent Jamieson did with Graham and Kreamer where the duo pitched several ideas.
