A schoolteacher reported missing from Oslo turned up at Piccadilly Station, then police checked his phone

A schoolteacher who had been reported missing in Oslo was arrested at Piccadilly Station after police made a sickening discovery.

Ole Steinsland was detained at the central Manchester rail hub on July 11 after officers found him in the company of a 16-year-old girl from Derbyshire, who had also been reported missing.

He was discovered to be a Norwegian national, and was quickly linked to a missing persons report of a primary school teacher.

Chilling checks of Steinsland’s phone discovered hundreds of indecent images of children, including some featuring children as young as three.
