Lucy Alexander will be joining the A Place in the Sun presenting team.The property expert, 53, is best known for Homes Under the Hammer but will soon be jetting off to some sunny locations thanks to her new gig.
Lucy appeared on the show last year but will now be a permanent fixture of the show as she helps couples find their dream homes.
Sharing her exciting news, Lucy said: "I am now a part of the A Place in the Sun family!" She told The Sun: "I've got quite a few episodes coming up with them this year, I am definitely a part of the family which has been lovely!" She will also be appearing on A Place in the Sun's new spin-off, What Happens Next.
Lucy told the outlet: "They've asked me to do their brand new show which is a re-visit. As my lovely couple bought their house, I'm now doing a let's go back and see how they are getting on! "I'm travelling about once a month at the moment for A Place in the Sun which is fantastic and I'm really, really enjoying it!" Last month, a shocking episode of the show saw a couple purchase the perfect property in Costa Blanca, Spain, only to later discover that the deal was just "too good to be true." Greg and Reda thought they had found the perfect property which was on the market for £85,470, and even managed to secure a cheaper deal, purchasing it for just £83,760.
