Jonnie Irwin's widow Jessica Holmes was met with an outpouring of support as she shared a heart-wrenching update eight months after the death of her presenter husband.
Former A Place in the Sun host Jonnie passed away in February at the age of 50 following a battle with cancer, leaving Jessica and their three young children.This weekend Jess attended a family wedding in America, and later took to her social media to explain how difficult it was to attend such important and emotional occasions without Jonnie by her side.
Alongside a snap of the happy couple, she wrote: "Weddings are hard. I love celebrating love. But I miss my love so much it hurts.
I want my husband. I want my vows to have meant forever too." Jonnie, ,who presented the Channel 4 travel show from 2004 until 2021, and also the BBC's Escape to the Country from 2010 to 2023, was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2020 and sadly passed away on February 2, this year.
