A man spat at a police officer and a security guard, before telling them he had coronavirus - and that he 'hoped they died from it'.

Jamie McAdam's, 31, was slammed by a judge for his sickening behaviour. "It’s difficult to think of a more appalling and disgusting way to behave...

in the midst of the coronavirus crisis," he was told. Manchester Crown Court heard that on April 27, McAdam, who is homeless, became 'hysterical' at a hotel in Fallowfield, south Manchester.

He had been given a place to stay at The Rams Lodge on Wilmslow Road, which had been set up as a homeless shelter. McAdam was seen screaming and shouting after he recieved the news his sister was in intensive care.
