Dozens of skaters - many of which will go on to compete at an international level - will descend upon Blackpool in April for the town’s ice skating festival.
It’s returning to Pleasure Beach Arena for its 55th year. The Blackpool Ice Skating Festival takes place from April 8 to April 9 and sees skaters from across the UK compete for a top spot within their category.
Skaters are invited to enter as singles, adults, solo exhibitions and team skaters while spectators can pay £5 to watch, with premium tickets costing £10.
The Arena has played host to Blackpool Ice Skating Festival for over a half a century, and has seen thousands of talented skaters showcase their skills, with many going on to represent their country at international level.
