The heartbroken family of a paddleboarder who died in Dovestone Reservoir have paid tribute to him. Simon Daniels was described as 'larger than life' in a moving tribute from his loved ones.
The personal trainer from Winsford, in Cheshire, got into difficulty on the Oldham reservoir on Sunday (October 20). He was tragically pulled from the water on Wednesday (October 23).
In a statement issued through Greater Manchester Police, his family said: “Simon is our world, he’s funny, unpredictable and has a heart as big as an ocean.
