Next week will see the launch of another Manchester restaurant, and this one promises to bring street-food style barbeque dining to Bridge Street.
Inspired by Northern Thailand, Neon Tiger, a brand-new bar and kitchen concept will open on Wednesday, June 8. Part of Neon Tiger's offering will channel the principles of a Thai Grill House - known as Baan Yang - adopting traditional cooking processes over live fire and smoked meat, producing 'bold, fiery and unapologetic flavours'.
The sharing-style dining concept, which will see dishes cooked over charcoal and served on small plates, will encompass dishes including flame-kissed skewers, lemongrass and smoked sausage and coal-roasted aubergine with soft boiled egg and sweet soy dressing.
Complementing these sharing dishes will be the centrepiece noodle bowl, which is designed to be enjoyed solo, with noodles hand-pulled locally in Manchester by the Komugi Noodles team.
