80s rocker’s fiancee dies at sea after horror fall from cruise ship

Faster Pussycat frontman Taime Downe's fiancee Kimberly Burch has tragically died at sea after she fell overboard from a cruise ship, it's been confirmed.The heartbreaking incident took place on the first evening of The 80s Cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas on March 2, and despite efforts, Kimberly's body has not been recovered.

A spokesperson for Royal Caribbean Group told Mail Online: "Our crew immediately launched a search and rescue effort, is working with local authorities, and we are providing support and assistance to the guest's family during this difficult time.To respect the privacy of our guest's family, we have no additional details to share." The 56-year-old real estate agent had been in a relationship with the 60-year-old rockstar for around six years and was accompanying him on the cruise as he prepared to entertain guests.

Setting sail from Miami, the cruise was scheduled to make stops at Nassau, San Juan, and Labadee. Only hours before her untimely death, Kimberly shared a joyful snapshot of herself with Taime on social media captioned with an excited: "We made it to @the80scruise." However, the devastating news of her death was later confirmed by her mother, Carnell Burch, to TMZ, stating that Taime had called her to break the sad news.

A representative from the U.S. Coast Guard informed the outlet that the tragic event occurred approximately 20 miles off the coast of Freeport in the Bahamas, reports the Mirror.
