Dundee United are on the hunt for a new manager yet again with Saturday's thumping against Ross County proving the final straw for Liam Fox.Fox only took over in September following the sacking of Jack Ross and despite showing some initial promise, the Tangerines have toiled at the bottom of the table all season.
Their 4-0 trouncing against relegation rivals County leaves them four points adrift, albeit with a game in hand, and facing another tumble into the Championship if they can't nip their dire form in the bud.A club statement revealed their next appointment will come in "the near future" and sporting Tony Asghar will need to get it right as fans, feeling the problems at the club run far deeper than the man in the dugout, continue to call for his head.
Given the Fox experiment didn't go to plan, it seems unlikely they will look to another young manager to save their season and their Premiership status, but an established boss with a proven record of putting out fires.
