Leigh Griffiths and Patryk Klimala struck late to secure a 2-0 win over St Johnstone. The champions had the chance to really put the pressure on title rivals Rangers with a win in Perth but struggled for long periods to find a way through the home defence.St Johnstone put everything into the game and looked to have secured a point as three minutes of stoppage time showed on the board.
Griffiths was left unmarked for a late header though, before Klimala showed dogged determination to breach the defence a second time and fire high into the net.Neil Lennon made three changes to the side which beat Sarajevo on Thursday, with David Turnbull coming in for his first start and Olivier Ntcham replacing captain Scott Brown.
