2025 American Music Awards Sets Date At CBS

CBS and Dick Clark Productions announced today that the 2025 American Music Awards will air on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, live from Las Vegas on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.

This year marks the return of the AMAs, which are voted on by fans, following October 2024’s top-rated American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special on CBS.

The show surpassed 13M in reach and averaged over 6.1M viewers, up 53% from the last show in 2022 on ABC. The star-studded lineup included Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood, Green Day, Brad Paisley, Chaka Khan, Sheila E., Gladys Knight, Kane Brown, Nelly, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, RAYE, Stray Kids, AJ McLean, Jimmy Kimmel, Kate Hudson, Lance Bass, Reba McEntire, Samuel L.

Jackson, and Smokey Robinson. This year marks the AMAs first shift to a spring date, having previously aired in the fall. The 2025 show will include a tribute to veterans along with a celebration of the year’s most popular artists.
