The ratings are in for the 2023 Super Bowl! According to the official reports from Fox, the annual sporting event delivered record-breaking viewership – for both the big game, and Rihanna‘s halftime performance. Keep reading to find out more… Variety reports that for the 2023 Super Bowl, where Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Philadelphia Eagles, 113 million viewers tuned in for the telecast.

This marks a six-year high in viewership and ranks it as the third-most-watched television event of all time. Only two past Super Bowls ranked higher – the 2015 Patriots vs.

Seahawks game, and the 2017 Patriots vs. Falcons game. Those each received approximately 114 million views. Additionally, Rihanna‘s halftime performance also made a huge impact, with 118.7 million views, making it the second-most viewed show ever, just behind Katy Perry‘s 2015 performance.

The streaming numbers were also some for the record books, with the game being the most-streamed Super Bowl ever. It averaged 7 million streams, an 18% increase from the 6 million streams delivered by Fox last year.
